They're supposed to be used as a replacement for "Home" and "End" keys. But instead half the time when I'm editing something Firefox navigates me away from the page! This is almost as annoying as the infamous Backspace/Delete key shortcut! It drives me nuts that command-right-arrow and command-left-arrow are used to navigate the page at all! You can also drag two fingers on the trackpad to scroll. And I think function + down or up will also page up or down. Nice tip on the square brackets.
