Well?? I’ve been seriously considering these guys… my Austin backyard is a battle zone. How much was the install? How is it working? Inquiring minds want to know!

It was about $3,700 for my install which consisted of 25 nozzles covering just my backyard and that included my first filling, tax, and install.

At first I was kind of shocked at the cost but I am sooooooo glad I did it now. It has eliminated our mosquito problem which is about as bad as it gets where I live. We were consumed by tiger mosquitos and now I can go outside each night and never get bit. If I walk two doors down to the neighbors house and stand still for 30 seconds the mosquitos are all over me.

MosquitoNix == No More Mosquitos :)

I would say Mosquite Nix has capitalized on the killing of mosquitos. I’ll bet those 25 nozzles and the hose to run it, costs less that $50.00, add a tank of spray and a pump and they are probably operating at a 50% profit.

You got ripped off! There are a few companies in Austin that provide those systems at a much more reasonable price. Mosquito Nix is trying to recoup alot of overhead costs. Average 25 piece systems should run around 2200-2500. I got mine from Heart of Texas Pest Control, they did a great job, i am mosquito free, i had 30 nozzles and it wasnt near the 3k mark.

THANK YOU for your post about the price. I just discovered that this kind of system was available and really appreciate the info since the company’s website offers no pricing information. My husband and I attended a party this weekend at a lakeside retreat area – many beautiful plants, ponds, water settings — all after weeks of rain. The homeowner uses Mosquito Nix and even on his sizeable spread — no mosquitos all evening.
It’s been nearly 2 years since your initial post — how has it worked out for you?

We had a system installed by a company that used to go by the name Mosquito Nix but now is Mosquito Xperts. They cnarged $3200 for a 35 nozzle system – in our big yard. It is incredible – I will never be without it. It is amazing.
